Mark Amrhein is a professional civil (geotechnical) and environmental engineer completing over 300 projects in his 25 years of experience.  He is the president and senior engineer for Amrhein Associates, Inc., established in 1996.  During that time, he was working under contract for 7 years with the City of Grants Pass managing the operations, permitting and capital projects’ design and construction for the Merlin Landfill in Josephine County.  Prior to that, Mr. Amrhein was the Director of Engineering for the Medford office of EMCON, a national environmental engineering company.  He practiced foundation and geotechnical engineering with Rittenhouse-Zeman & Associates, Inc. in Seattle for 5 years.
